Waitlist privacy
A small list, with a small data footprint.
Initial notice · August 15, 2026
This notice covers only the public MindEdBook founding-beta list. That list is separated from the future customer application and from any school context. Joining it does not create a school account.
What the list stores
When you join, the marketing database stores your email address, the role you selected, the consent notice version and time, and limited campaign labels such as a UTM campaign if one brought you here. The site also records a random per-tab session identifier and a short list of page actions so we can compare landing-page messages.
The application database does not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, school name, or school documents. Cloudflare processes ordinary request metadata while providing hosting, security, and database infrastructure.
How the email is protected
The email is encrypted before it is written to the database. A separate keyed fingerprint supports duplicate detection without using the readable address as an index. Encryption and lookup keys are held as server-side secrets, not in the page or repository.
Why it is used
The address will be used only for occasional MindEdBook product notes and possible beta invitations. We do not sell the list. If a future use is materially different, it will require a new notice or choice.
Retention and choice
The address remains while the founding list is active or until you remove it. After joining, this browser receives a private, server-only removal control that page scripts cannot read. You may use it below; removal deletes the waitlist row rather than merely hiding it. Future messages will also include an unsubscribe route.
